一定有人很納悶,這 Title 是在幹嘛?其實痞子第一次聽到這餐廳,是因為網路上一篇新聞,說有家餐廳叫做 Escobar,讓中南美洲人很不開心,因為會讓他們想到毒梟 Pablo Escobar,要連署讓他們改名子...<br />

去年的新聞,這餐廳現在還在,名字也是沒有改... 不過 Google Review 上面一大片的負面評價,都是有關名字,都不是有關食物,導致痞子很好奇食物到底好不好吃。剛好看到他們出現在 Dine Out Vancouver 名單上面,又剛好有比較願意嘗試不同料理的人一起衝一波,就... 走啊!<br />

首先是前菜的 Empanadas,餡料貌似是很傳統中南美洲 Empanadas 會出現的東西 (肉,葡萄乾,橄欖,蛋),他們家的 Empanadas 餡料不算太多,不過外酥內軟這件事倒是做的很不錯。另一個前菜是沙拉,所以我們就直接跳過了...<br />

主餐有兩個肉食選項。我們都把最後素食的茄子給跳過了....<br />

<a name='more'></a>左邊是 Braised Spanish Rabbit Ragu,搭配寬條的 Pappardelle,雖然整體感覺太油,但是至少味道是好的。肉質算是比之前在 Catch 122 吃到的兔肉好吃,上次吃到那個完全是煮太老,用 Ragu 的話是把他煮爛了,所以味道都有進去,也不會有難以入口的問題。以下圖片支援觀眾看到兔肉料理的反應:<br />

回歸正題,右邊是 Adobo Braised Pork Cheek。下面的 Cornmeal 好吃,肉也處理的很嫩,沒有 Pork Cheek 可能會出現的腥味,可能跟他們醃料夠味或是肉質好,有直接的關係。不過整體跟上一道一樣,有點太油,尤其上面直接給你一坨牛油...<br />

好啦,不過這道 Impossible Cake,是巧克力蛋糕跟布丁的綜合體,老實說兩個分開的話,就不是很驚艷,不過加在一起,再搭配上面的糖絲,就會讓人覺得,至少吃起來是開心的。<br />

Churro 上面一樣有那個糖絲,不過他們的 Churro 是球狀的,害痞子小失望一下。然後沒有那種好吃的 Churros 會有的 fluffy,鬆散的感覺,非常的紮實...<br />

總體而言,其實不算差,雖然後來朋友的朋友跟我說,他們覺得有點雷,不過痞子是覺得,至少要回去試一下 Gin and tonic 才好下結論,雖然痞子本人不是那一掛的... 以下開放揪團二刷。<br />

通常痞子在 Dine Out Vancouver 的時候,不會衝已經去過的餐廳,因為痞子一直喜歡嘗試新餐廳。不過這次找了老半天,找不到心儀的第三家餐廳時,毅然決然地訂了以前吃過一次的 L'Abbatoir,然後一直說服自己,之前來的那一次吃的是早午餐,這次吃的是晚餐,所以就當作沒來過吧。<br />

他們的 Dine Out 不意外也是最高價位,一直有不少有人跟我說他們的 Dine Out 每年都很棒。I mean,身為每年都被列入加拿大百大餐廳的名單,應該不會太糟糕吧...<br />

麵包開始就很優,無論是前面那個很像小餐包的東西,還是烤得酥脆的餅,最好吃的是後面那個裡面有鹹魚的麵包酥捲。<br />

羊肉的兩個部位,一個是沙朗,一個是嘴邊肉。嘴邊肉腥味稍微重一點,肉質偏油,沙朗肉質偏瘦,兩塊肉都熟度適中。選用棗子醬汁,有幫助減少腥味影響。<br />

Ganache 見仁見智,搭配百香果醬有比較不膩。另外兩個神來一筆,一個是香蕉 sorbet,一個是上面撒的香菜粉(?!),很莫名其妙地幫這道甜點多加了一點層次。<br />

這道痞子猶豫很久才點的,因為有點不敢想像外國餐廳做的蜂蜜蛋糕,不過我的天天天阿,蜂蜜味道有夠香,抹茶慕斯味道有夠濃,沾到一點就滿嘴茶味,檸檬醬也是一樣香甜帶微酸。本日亮點之二。<br />

今天這餐可以說是 Dine Out 的完美範例之一,從麵包到甜點,想找地方挑毛病都沒有,基本上每道都在水準之上。難怪他們家幾乎每年加拿大百大餐廳都榜上有名。唯一可以拿出來碎念的,就是結帳送的折價卷,是<a href="http://celipliz.blogspot.com/2019/02/dineout-2019-coquille-labbatoir.html">她們姊妹店 Coquille </a>的,不是他們自己家的......<br />

今年 DineOut 第二衝,跟友人們選了這家 Coquille 海鮮餐廳。本來有朋友說想訂 Anna Lena,殊不知有 Advanced Reservation 還是訂不到,只好左看右看上看下看,看一個還不像太差的餐廳。然後來之前,有朋友說有點小雷,所以我沒有抱太大期望...<br />

今晚亮點二,Oxtail fideo pasta, pine nut picada, aioli,很少看到會以牛尾拌入Pasta的,通常都是用紅酒燉的,放旁邊,所以有新奇感。味道調得稍稍偏鹹,不過不會讓你狂灌水。Pasta 有點軟,可能是 Fideo (墨西哥式Pasta) 本身口感就是這樣。整體來講是好吃的,因為幾乎不太看到這兩樣東西,更別說是擺在一起了。<br />

甜點 (Bunuelo, granny smith apple, sugar cane syrup, vanilla ice cream) 中規中矩,炸酥酥的麵粉餅,配不太甜的蘋果,冰淇淋,根據說是蔗糖的醬汁,還算是個不賴的結尾。<br />

整題而言,食物很不差,服務也很好。兩個服務員輪流幫忙加水,聊天,其中一個還聊到剛剛的薑汁汽水去哪裡買 XD 走之前還送一張折價卷,下次來可以送一個 Margarita。看來是真的要回來光顧第二次了。<br />

首先,我們看了附近大家都點了手撕麵包,然後服務生也推薦手撕麵包,然後同桌的另一位是專業碳水化合物評測員,所以當然 不可能錯過手撕麵包。事實證明,手撕麵包真的是一絕。他的皮酥的,裡面的麵包軟的香的,不用塗奶油就好吃。塗奶油更好吃,因為他鮮打奶油非常之新鮮,非常濃郁,跟麵包非常搭。絕對,絕對一定要點。</div>

這次 Anna Lena 的餐點,讓痞子感覺主打亞洲風味。首先前菜的雞肉凍搭配鴨肝,上面搭配的蔬菜都是越南麵包會出現的,旁邊的醬更是像是優化的烤鴨醬... 不過食材處理非常好,鴨肝香醇濃郁,雞肉調味也恰到好處,就覺得多一塊麵包可以嗎...</div>

主食一號,茄子搭配一整片義大利麵,茄子走的是比較偏中東路線,有點像是 Nuba 會吃到的東西,然後做一個跟西式主食的搭配,顯示出主廚的創意無限。痞子特愛上面的 parmasean foam,這個是分子料理餐廳才有可能出現的東西,痞子也是常常看 food network 才知道有這個... </div>

主食二號,羊肉莎朗,一樣走中東路線,主要配料是 chickpea,白花椰菜跟優格,調味不會下的太過於重,不過又沒有偏離正統口味。肉的熟度沒有意外的,完美。痞子最近剛好吃到一個普普的羊肉莎朗,所以知道這裡主廚的羊肉處理非常之優秀。</div>

總結一下,很多餐廳會因為 Dine Out Vancouver 太多人,服務跟食物等級會降級,不過 Anna Lena 的 Dine Out 幾乎沒甚麼好挑剔的,所以痞子相信是沒甚麼降級拉,如果降級還有這樣的話,那原先等級可能就高到沒話說了。</div>

不過痞子因為有事晚到,所以拜託友人幫忙先到先拿位子,因為聽說店面很小。果不其然,到了之後還是等了半個小時,才勉強擠進去吧台的位子。這有點尷尬,因為一行人三個都沒點飲料... 不過一個帶有店老闆氣勢的男子,算是有模有樣地幫我們安排位子,然後就由吧台的女服務生為我們點餐。</div>

首先是這個鴨肝配吐司 (Duck Liver on Toast)。麵包烤得酥脆,但不堅硬。鴨肝非常之香濃,調味也非常洽當,搭配上面的酸黃瓜跟 Balsamic Vinegar,並不會有太膩的感覺。(雖然還是偏重口味,所以請三思。) 另一個我們差點點的,是緹魚配吐司,據說也是必點物品之一。(痞子學壞了,標題說有緹魚結果沒點到... )<br />

garganelli con salsiccia - 據說'中文叫做溝紋管麵,就是管麵旁邊有橫條紋的這種,可能因此附著醬汁比較足夠? 口感非常優秀,因為他的麵不管是煮的熟度或是用的原料都是上等,吃起來非常有彈性。裡面搭配的肉也非常融入整道料理當中,比起一般肉醬多了一點清爽感,又不失肉本身的鹹味。<br />

linguini al tonno - 橄欖跟鮪魚義大利麵,雖然不是小弟的菜,不過一樣麵條處理是他們的強項,橄欖跟鮪魚的結合,也讓整道菜負擔不算太大。<br />

必須說,他們的 Espresso panne cotta 是亮點,奶味很足夠,但是跟上次在 Spade 吃到的比起來,咖啡味倒是少了一點,不過還是很夠。( P.S. 據說 Spade 已經不賣 panne cotta 了... )<br />

整體上來說,光是麵條本身的優質程度,就可以讓人想要一刷再刷了。再加上其他優秀的前菜,很值得再來光顧。<br />

Good Friday 的第一天晚上,開車閒晃了一下,忽然想要吃壽司。不過左看右看,ㄜ... 這裡是 Burquitlam。所以拿 Urbanspoon 出來查一下,第一家 Sushi California 爆滿,所以又轉了第二次,找到了今天這篇的主角,Hana Mori Sushi。<br />

很小一個店,大概三桌 + 一個包廂 + 一個吧檯這樣。黑板上有 Specials,問服務生他也會跟你說 Off-Menu 有甚麼。這裡的亮點應該是火槍,和牛,還有O-Toro。( 可是有註明是 Big Eye,不是 Blue Fin Tuna... )<br />

店裡招牌之一,火槍嫩烤鮪魚肚握壽司。吃下去真的是一個幸福的感覺,滿到都漫出來了 >< 廚師還特別交代不要沾醬油。壽司飯也處理的不差。<br />

嫩烤和牛鋪在加州捲上,在灑上一些脆片跟烤蒜頭片,說實話搭配的真的很不錯。和牛這我倒是第一次看有人這樣處理的。(我開始後悔沒有點和牛sashimi了... )<br />

店裡面就很像是一個鐵皮工廠,硬改成餐廳的 feel。整家店貌似只有老闆一個人,煮飯點餐<br />
甚麼都自己來... 店裡面的位子也不多就是,大概20個人最多吧。如果老闆喜歡你的話,他會跟你聊起來。我跟老闆聊了大概快半個多小時吧...<br />

老闆經歷非常豐富,他曾經上過日本電視節目,日本雜誌美食專欄,小弟某一次坐飛機,也在飛機上看到他的餐廳。聊天中可以感覺得出來,他很認真的在做他的食物,而且對他煮出來的東西很驕傲。同時他也說,現在年輕人太多都是盲目的,看大家排隊就跟著去吃,還有溫哥華純日料比例漸漸減少...<br />

他們很少選擇,只有醬油跟鹽味的湯底,不過醬油湯底顏色很深,卻不會過鹹,主打 no-MSG 的湯頭喝起來非常隻爽口,不會像是豬骨湯那樣,喝整碗會喝到快吐了一樣。麵條也很Q彈,叉燒則是肥瘦適中,不過只有一片叉燒,+$4 就多加個四片叉燒。痞子特別覺得他的筍子很好吃,因為偏甜。這碗麵的不一樣程度,五顆星。<br />

店家就在碼頭入口的馬路對面,平常其實沒有到很多人,可是天氣好的話外面的 Patio Seating 很快就滿了,我們來兩次都是運氣很好,剛好有外面的位子,可以看著 Steveston 的遊客閒晃,很是悠閒。<br />

小杯海鮮濃湯,一樣很不錯,滿滿的海鮮,濃濃的湯頭,應該是痞子喝過偏好喝的。下次一定點大碗。<br />

今天這家 Spade Coffee 其實 Dine Out 就有注意到了,因為看他打著咖啡店的名號,卻在賣著正餐,感覺有點不務正業... 不過看網路評價不差,所以就跟著食客朋友一起來一探究竟了。當然來之前有研究一下,老闆是很厲害的咖啡師,老闆的兄弟是大溫著名的 49th Parallel 的老闆,所以咖啡絕對優。</div>

Gnocchi (貓耳朵) 是今晚亮點之一,手工貓耳朵很是Q彈,搭配特調墨魚蒜頭醬汁,蒜味不會太搶,讓整道菜負擔不會太大,吃起來清爽又不會缺乏味道。</div>

Espresso Panna Cotta 是今晚另一大亮點 (奶酪藏在奶泡底下),奶酪口感很綿,奶味不太重,咖啡味非常香,吃進嘴裡滿口都是咖啡味。在這咖啡店,咖啡奶酪為這餐畫下完美句點。 (EDIT: 2018/09 友人說再去已經沒有 Espresso Panna Cotta 了... 節哀。)</div>

Ackee & Saltfish with Dumplings - 14.50<br />
據說是牙買加人早餐經典款,<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif;">荔枝果鹹魚飯,Ackee 據說是牙買加國民水果,也是世界上最奇特水果之一,沒煮過吃了會出事的,但是煮過搭配鹹魚就是牙買加人的早餐。味道麻,就真的是偏 "奇特",想嘗鮮的朋友可以來一試。</span><br />

冰鎮奶茶 ($4.99) 是他們家的招牌之一,奶茶直接裝到瓶罐當中,塞到冰箱,所以不會有冰塊將奶茶稀釋的問題。<br />

先撇開這裡幾乎(還是根本?)沒有澳門餐廳這件事來說,光以食物品質來說,就很值得令人再來一次。員工服務態度也是一等一,加茶,換盤,幫忙我們換食物位置 (我們七人坐長桌,每次他們看到我們要端食物都會來幫忙),跟很多港式茶餐廳的服務態度比,實在是好太多了。 結論就是,希望這家可以長駐,因為估計會很常被痞子推薦。<br />

價位一人份大概在 $20 上下,牛小排則要 $34.95。照片中的兩片綠茶 ($21.95)算一份,所以其實價位偏高。不過價錢有一大部分是給服務生的,因為全程都是小鮮肉為各位服務,從烤肉到分解盛盤,一手包辦。烤肉時還很貼心的,會拿烘培紙蓋著,不會到處噴。</div>

撇開價錢不說,厚片豬肉 (原味$20.95,綠茶$21.95) 好吃,雖然小弟覺得綠茶口味只是噱頭,加分有限...醃漬的很夠味了,不用沾醬就有鹹。牛小排 ($34.95) 超級,超級嫩,油花分布完美,超級好吃。薄片豬肉最便宜,不過拿來夾生菜剛剛好。薄片牛肉 ($24.95) 跟豬肉 ($19.95) 一樣也是夠水準。</div>

走進來很有爺爺奶奶家的感覺,很像老闆跟闆娘兩位,把家裡開放給客人來吃飯一樣。椅子上有小枕頭,旁邊有客廳會看到的杯子櫃,牆上掛著照片和靠著娃娃。話說,Iwona Pierogies 店名原因貌似 (1) 闆娘就叫 Iwona,(2) 諧音很像 I wanna Pierogies...</div>

看名子猜得出來,這家主打的是 Pierogies,波蘭餃子,小弟幾乎去哪裏吃到都是包馬鈴薯的 (除了在匹茲堡有一次吃了包蛇肉的...) 櫃台有幾個主打的 Pierogies 口味,甜鹹都有,還有幾個其他特有波蘭美食,價位也寫得一清二楚。甚至如果想要買外帶,自己回家煮的,他們也有賣冷凍的。(號稱全部手工的! )</div>

然而,如果你跟痞子一樣,有選擇困難,或是想甚麼都吃一點的話,可以參考他們的 Combo,不會後悔。因為,除了 Pierogies好吃以外,他們的高麗菜捲也是超優的。燉到軟爛的高麗菜包絞肉,搭配適當的湯汁調料,吃到嘴裡已經快要可以用融化來形容了... Sausage 也不錯,蒜味重,香腸多汁。</div>

雖說我們今天來的目的是早午餐,不過痞子聞到味道,就決定還是要來一碗牛肉河粉來嚐嚐,所以點了嚐鮮版的小碗牛肉河粉 。完整版的午餐 $13.99 可以吃到,可以選擇加購生牛肉/骨髓/水波蛋。<br />

這道應該是他們家招牌,雖然很多原因是因為它可以加點半隻龍蝦(+25)丟到上面,整個就會變得很澎湃。不過基本的蛋跟薯條,還是做得非常好。<br />

蘋果夾在底面的蘋果派,應該是自己做的,然後點了幫你加熱一下,可惜內餡沒有熱,浪費了很高水準的酥皮。<br />

其實這家吃完之後,痞子對它們的早午餐評價頗高,雖然我們沒有添加高級食材,不過在基本款上,它們做的也非常好。這家非常值得丟在口袋當中,改天再來嘗試不同餐點。<br />

剛開幕的人潮絡繹不絕,不提前訂位根本一位難求。店內清一色由身著女僕裝的服務生們為貴賓們服務。感覺服務生的職員訓練做得非常好,隔壁桌問到有關店家的歷史,服務生都能對答如流,而要跟來一兩句台語也是ㄟ通ㄟ喔。</div>

蜜糖吐司跟鬆餅當然是招牌,而且很是過分的,推出了"溫哥華限定"的蒙布朗蜜糖吐司。當然我們就上當了,阿不是,就點了他來試試看。當然因應促銷,點兩份主食送一個經典蜜糖吐司,所以我們還是點了兩份主食,再補差額把經典吐司換成其他款式。<br />

墨魚汁小卷燉烤飯 - $13.50<br />
感覺比較有特色的餐點,當然成為我們下手的第一目標。黑亮的墨魚燉烤飯,味道夠但又不會太鹹,越吃越香,越吃越好吃。小卷則是很嬌羞(?)的藏在飯當中。淡菜(青口)處理得很好,尤其是痞子前一天才吃過有點不新鮮的淡菜,他們的淡菜很OK。<br />

莎莎醬海鮮義大利麵 - $13.50<br />
這道算是有創意,但是口味上面可能比較不讓我們覺得夠味,因為麵條沒有跟到醬汁的話,其實沒甚麼味道。麵條煮的沒問題,莎莎醬的滋味也不賴,可能是整體搭配不是我們習慣的口味吧。然後怎麼兩道都有淡菜,廚師好像很愛阿...<br />

今晚重頭戲來啦~~~ 燈燈~ 蒙布朗蜜糖吐司 ($15),用栗子泥當主角,環繞在一球冰淇淋上。服務生很是貼心的,會讓客人先拍照,然後再來幫忙客人拆解,順便講解食用方式。<br />

裡面的吐司條烤得金黃酥脆,蜜糖香非常足夠。栗子泥也非常有水準,搭配起來也沒甚麼違和感。冰淇淋、鮮奶油、卡士達醬則是標配,品質保證。是說我覺得卡士達醬可以再多一點點啦.... 喔忘了說,旁邊那個應該是楓糖,到最後吃麵包四周的皮,卡士達醬又用完的時候,非常好用 (笑)<br />

如果以蜜糖吐司來說的話,應該是輕鬆打趴他們上岸前大溫地區各家的蜜糖吐司(不服來帶我去吃比他們更好吃的XD) 其他的話,痞子覺得最需要觀察的,是開始正式營運之後,人潮是否依舊,品質是否能維持甚至更上一層樓。<br />

其實 Re-Up 一直都在痞子的口袋名單,自從痞子當年第一次吃他們的 Pulled Pork 就愛上了以後,之後就鮮少機會來這裡。最近幾周剛好在 New West / Burnaby 這塊接 Case,所以就找了兩周,來這裡享用午餐。<br />

不囉嗦,直接下結論,小弟認為在大溫地區吃到最好吃的炸雞之一。現炸出來,雞肉多汁,醃漬雞肉的香料,不搶戲的帶出雞肉的鮮味。(其實痞子甚至覺得有一點點甜。)外面裹著薄薄一層炸粉,吃起來不會有太大負擔,卻是非常香脆。隨炸雞搭配的沾醬,帶著濃濃的蜂蜜跟黃芥末香,跟炸雞完美搭配。<br />

P.S. 剛剛估狗了一下,Food Network 甚至有他們家炸雞的食譜,有興趣的可以去參考看看,我就不在這裡暴雷了 :)<br />

肋排半分就這麼多了,火侯恰到好處,把肋排烤的多汁味美,肉能輕易骨肉分離,也不至於過熟。醃料跟烤肉醬的香料跟鹹度比例極佳。<br />

比斯吉是自家做的,很香,很鬆軟。<br />

總歸一句,痞子極度喜歡這家烤肉店,他很有可能是痞子在大溫地區,吃到美式風格最好吃的烤肉 (雖然痞子對這部分涉獵也不深,也沒有到美國烤肉重鎮吃過)。店員也非常的 Chill,兩次遇到不同的店員,都會跟你瞎哈拉沙漠兩句。( P.S. 如果吃飯快的話,這裡三十分鐘內停車免費。)<br />

遠近馳名的 Avo on Toast,不加蛋 $9,加蛋$14,其實好像點餐順序有差,看IG上面的照片,很多人的餐點是酪梨放旁邊,蛋放麵包上。大膽推測,如果是點 Avo on Toast 加蛋就會是照片看到的這樣,如果是點 Poached Eggs + Avocado 就會看到酪梨放邊邊...<br />

好的這不是重點,重點是酪梨跟麵包超搭的啊!!!! 麵包是他們家自己烤的 Sourdough (好啦有些人不喜歡可是我頗愛),搭配滑順的酪梨,附帶一丁點的胡椒跟蜂蜜香,完全來到天堂的感覺。蛋則是也是水準之上,看看那個切面就知道,不熟程度完全合格。<br />

他在 Guildford 後面,104 跟 150 的交接處,其實不是甚麼很多人會注意到的地方,加上店招牌也不算高調,所以第一次來可能會找不到。痞子也是常常開車經過,才知道有這家 (畢竟這家從2005年開到現在,也有一定的年紀了)。後面有停車場。</div>

裝潢其實還滿有想法的,據說是十周年的時候大改裝的。店有點比想像中大一丁點 (因為外表看起來實在太不起眼) 。午餐有 Lunch Special,每道都是 $12。其實以 Lunch Special 來說這價錢有點高,所以希望他們會以質或量取勝。(進門的時候,旁邊都有貼他們贏的獎項等等,所以是有一點點期待感的。)</div>

開胃菜我們選了 Chicken Satay ($10/4pc),雞肉不會太柴,不過味道醃的不是很重,可能是因為整片雞胸沒有太多處理的關係。沙嗲醬味道夠但是有點太水。黃瓜紫蔥配料則是快要變成酸甜汁了(因為水真的太多)。</div>

綠咖哩味道很棒,椰奶跟香料的組合非常好,茄子完美融入綠咖哩,燉的是入口即化。美中不足是牛肉有點老。(不過是痞子嘴賤,想說要點雞肉沙嗲才改綠咖哩,不然網路大家都是推綠咖哩雞肉...) Presentation 分數很高,光那疊椰漿飯就讓人食欲開了。</div>

這家主要應該是吃氣氛取勝的,在這裡氣氛的營造靠的是裝潢,跟食物擺盤上面的巧思,而服務生們的服務品質也有幫助他們家到分。食物的話,我們吃到的都還算不差,所以痞子正在考慮要不要回來衝第二次。</div>

這個位子,以前是痞子五年前(?!)介紹過的一家<a href="http://celipliz.blogspot.ca/2012/06/2012-06-17-ddoo-gau-bee.html"> Ddoo Gau Bee 韓國料理店</a>,位子剛好在 Hannam Supermarket 樓上。(甜點界的人們,他跟 Midam 在同一個 Plaza,Midam 在一樓,他在二樓) 對比起來,看的出來他們把餐廳砍掉重練,阿不對,做了不少裝潢的變化,現在走比較年輕風格。</div>

以Combo來說組合算很棒,有痞子最愛的牛小排(還去骨喔)跟豬頸肉。肉質還不錯,醃的肉味到也好。份量以痞子全盛時期大概會覺得不夠。整體來說算是以質取勝,並非以量取勝。</div>

喔另外一點,人多的時候服務非常之慢,按鈴要按三次才有人來。畢竟他們好像才開不到半年,所以可能在員工培訓或是人手支援這塊還不太夠。不過員工都非常NICE,笑臉迎人的,所以比較不會想翻臉。</div>

今年第三場 Dine Out,也是今年唯一一場 $40 的 Option (沒辦法,痞子窮,痞子要養家),挑了一家<strike>還有位子,</strike>菜單有亮點的餐廳,Notch 8。光是看到主菜其中一個選項就驚呆了,想說這個亮點竟然還訂的到位,就跟另一位賴姓大食客定下來了。<br />

痞子跟友人一樣,完全忽視掉其他選項 (鱈魚+帝王蟹濃湯/蔬食選項),直接衝著這一道來。完美呈現的和牛牛小排,油花分布非常漂亮,火侯處理完美,入口之順口,光是這塊肉大概就值回今日票價了。搭配的配料也不馬虎,Truffle,南瓜骨髓湯汁,野梅,分別帶給這塊肉不同層次的搭配。<br />

很成功的一道甜點,香濃的核桃冰淇淋,搭配完美酥烤威化餅,雖然只有一個甜點選項,但是這道甜點,為這餐畫下完美句點。<br />

痞子覺得,他們家今年丟出來的菜單,雖然選擇不多,但很有誠意,品質非常優,也有值回票價的感覺,大推。順帶一提,如果自己開車,停車可以考慮停在 UBC Robson,比較好處理。<br />

我們從側門進去,所以長這樣,不過Century Plaza Hotel在Burrard上面,很好找。話說停車有點麻煩,他們家的停車場好像是給 Hotel 客人停的,吃飯的話要停在附近的平面停車場,或是運氣好點找的到免費的路邊停車。</div>

義大利式馬鈴薯疙瘩,口感偏鬆軟,聽說嚼勁感覺起來是符合標準的。調味的話味道偏重奶重起司的白醬,所以吃了很容易有飽足跟膩的感覺,不過吃一點點的話是很好吃的。</div>

其實整體來說,不知道是因為他們沒有推出招牌,還是有其他的原因,我們覺得經驗普普。不過店經理跟服務生一直來找我們聊天,我們也都沒跟他反映就是。反正大概就是 hotel 餐廳的一貫水準拉,不用期待太高,但是也不用怕被雷。</div>

這次其實本來沒有很想衝 Dine Out 的,原因太多,其中之一是每家菜都差不多,窮人如我也不可能每餐都吃 $40,所以本來連研究都沒研究。不過菜單出來之後,還是有人約了,所以就隨便順手挑了一家沒吃過,訂的到位子,網路評價尚可,菜單也不到差的餐廳。(其實挑了三家,不過大家就選了 La Cigale,所以就...)<br />

第一印象是服務生雖然是法國人沒錯,不過有點兩光。連續送了好幾次不是我們的餐點給我們。我們都剛坐下來點餐而已,不用這樣誘惑我們吧...<br />

油封鴨腿的肉質很嫩,不柴,骨肉分離,不過味道稍嫌不夠,有人說跟吃粥裡面的鴨肉感覺一樣XD 下面的豆豆讓人很有飽足感,香腸則是為這道菜多加了點綴。不過每一盤拿到的香腸數量都不一樣...<br />

很中規中矩的燉牛肉,也不難吃,牛肉也沒什麼騷味(聽友人說,Beef Cheek很容易吃到騷的),可是就沒有讓人驚艷的好味道。<br />

喜歡!熱騰騰,香濃,果肉滿滿的藍莓醬,配上餅乾屑跟融化中的香草冰淇淋,有把整體印象拉回來一點。<br />

糟糕我沒甚麼印象了... 這個好像還好。<br />

整體來說其實沒有到很優秀,不過他們家常常出餐卷 (Groupon 等等),所以如果是想吃法式料理,又嫌法式料理太貴,只想要過個小癮的話,這家還是算可以接受的。<br />
